Surrounded by close family and friends, Anne Lacy and Matt Gialanella were married on September 5, 2009 in an intimate ceremony at The Washington Duke Inn and Golf Club. After the ceremony, more guests came to celebrate their union and dance well into the night.
Anne and Matt met at Wake forest university in 2004. From there Matt began his education to be a dentist and Anne began a masters program in mental health counseling. Both graduated this past May and moved to Chapel Hill, where Matt is now doing a 1 year dental residency at UNC-Chapel Hill. They both love being active, good food and spending time with friends and family. My favorite part of photographing them was when I stole them away from the reception to take a walk to watch the sunset. I think their story is best told in the slideshow below.
