Jon Davies and Alden Miles met while living abroad in Japan. Jon hails from the U.K. and Alden is from Chapel Hill. The couple, now living in Brooklyn, NY, chose the best Alden Miles’ hometown had to offer for their wedding. Chapel Hill is a college town but in the summer it is just a sleepy, beautiful, Southern small town. On August 14, just before the students and the chaos came back, the couple celebrated their marriage at University Presbyterian Church and had their reception at The Carolina Club. Despite the heat they chose to travel from the church to the Carolina Club in a pedicab. I love it! Congratulations to Jon and Alden! Thanks for asking Sarah and I to be a part of your day.
