New York Bound | A Wedding Story

For some reason we have had a ton of clients that have ties to North Carolina in one way or another, but actually live in New York City. This goes for Allison Jones and Ryan Hubbard as they met in Chapel Hill, where she was in undergrad and he was in the JD/MBA program. Although they saw each other in Chapel Hill quite frequently, they never dated until several years later. Their first official date was a wedding in Beaufort, NC on 11/3/2007. Now, exactly three years later, they are married!

Ryan and Allison live in New York, in an apartment in Tribeca. They absolutely love New York and everything it has to offer, such as the restaurants, shopping and the wide variety of activities available to them. They love to go out to eat (especially to their favorite Mexican place, La Esquina), to go to museums, watch Carolina football and basketball games with their friends, shop downtown, or simply walk around the city together. But they came back down to Allison’s hometown of Wilson, North Carolina to tie the knot.

While the band took a break we called for all Carolina alumni in attendance to come up to the dance floor for a group photo. I thought this was a great photo of so many Tarheels.
