Directions to the office (this is where all consultations are held):

A note about parking: You can park in front of Akai Hana before 11 a.m. At other times, just past our building is a gravel drive on the right. You may park there. If that is full there is also a municipal parking lot you can reach by going up to the light and taking a right on Weaver Street.

From Raleigh:

- I-40 West
- You can either take Exit 273A or Exit 270 off of I-40. If you take 273A (hwy 54 West), pass the Friday Center. Stay in the far right lane. After a couple of lights you will see an Exxon on your left and a highway bypass in front of you. Stay to the right and get on the second entrance ramp to Hwy 54 West bypass/ 15-501 South. Follow my directions from number 4 on.
- If you take Exit 270 onto Hwy 15-501, take a LEFT at the top of the exit ramp. You will be heading south to Chapel Hill. My street is 14 miles from this point. This road will split as you come into town. Stay to the LEFT keeping on 15-501.
- Go straight for quite a while. (You will pass shopping centers on your right, UNC hospitals and exits to UNC. 15-501 will merge with Hwy 54 West at some point. Then 15-501 will turn off, but stay straight on Hwy 54 West.)
- You will pass exits for Merritt Mill Rd. then Jones Ferry. Get off on the Jones Ferry Road exit. Take a right at the end of the exit ramp onto Jones Ferry Road. At the first light, take a left onto Main Street. My building is the brick building immediately on the right. Akai Hana is downstairs. I am upstairs on the 2nd floor. To get to the second floor go around the back of the building, through the Akai Hana patio. Go up the exterior staircase and come in the door. Go left. KPO Photo is the last door down on the right.

Directions to the studio (this is where photo shoots are held):

From Raleigh, this is how you get to the studio:

- I-40 West
- You can either take Exit 273A or Exit 270 off of I-40. If you take 273A (hwy 54 West), pass the Friday Center. Stay in the far right lane. After a couple of lights you will see a Harris Teeter on your left and a highway bypass in front of you. Stay to the right and get on the second entrance ramp to Hwy 54 West bypass/ 15-501 South. Follow my directions from number 4 on.
- If you take Exit 270 onto Hwy 15-501, take a LEFT at the top of the exit ramp. You will be heading south to Chapel Hill. My street is 14 miles from this point. This road will split as you come into town. Stay to the LEFT keeping on 15-501.

- You will pass exits for Merritt Mill Rd. then Jones Ferry. Soon on your left will be Carrboro Plaza. I am exactly five miles from there. You will now be out in the country.
- When you get close to the five-mile mark, look for Dodson’s Crossroads on your right. We are three streets past that.
- Take a RIGHT on Oak Hollow Rd. It is directly across from Sturdivant’s Auto. If you see the Oak Hollow Texaco or Fiesta Grill, you have gone too far. On Oak Hollow, we are the second driveway on the right, number 9906. Our driveway is in the shape of a “U,” so pull in either the first or second driveway. Enter the studio through the red door. I have a very friendly dog, Kika, who will most likely greet you. Just let me know if you need me to put her up before you come.
